Unseen Bangkok: Royal Thai Air Force Museum

The Royal Thai Air Force Museum is an unseen gem hidden away from all of the major tourist sites. The museum is located in the Don Mueang district of Bangkok. A district that many foreign visitors never even explore. I was lucky enough to know about the museum because it is near Bang Khen district where my wife lives. Lottery fever has been in full effect around the United States lately. The Mega Millions recent jackpot was worth $1.537 billion dollars. It was the game’s biggest jackpot ever. With that in mind, here’s what I would do if I won the big one.   First, I would do the same as most people and focus on a house and car. Pretty standard thinking among those dreaming of winning the jackpot. I would look for a house on the coast. Perhaps in Maine. I would…

This brought back memories of the places I have already visited. I feel that I’ve been rather fortunate thus far. Between working in national parks seasonally and living in a few different states, the list is extensive. While most of my time traveling has been in the United States, I have also seen two other countries. Many of the places on the list are part of the National Park system. States that I have only drove through are left off the list.…
